Every collection tells a story
THE SASSI STORY
Sassi means (gem)stones in Italian and so our story begins with a gem, an aquamarine, buried in Renilde’s jewellery case. The stone was bought years earlier for Hannah who was curious about her birthstone. When she was about to turn eighteen, her mother wanted to create a special necklace, just for her. She drew on the structure of a Roman necklace, integrating the aquamarine into a contemporary design….
“At Sassi Fine Jewellery we honour traditional savoir-faire and uphold a deep sense of responsibility towards people and planet. I have personally visited the workshops with which we collaborate, ensuring that the people who create our jewels work in conditions that reflect our values. Our values and commitment to ethical practices, impeccable craftsmanship and genuine respect for our artisans, our clients and the planet are visible in every piece. We create jewellery that is authentic and transparent, because this is what true luxury should be.”
